Dot Consults

I do occasional consulting and freelance work. My work focuses on developing methods for converting data between formats (e.g., converting Excel or Microsoft Word to XML, or between different flavors of XML) and on development and use of digital libraries, particularly collections of medieval manuscripts. I am currently looking for small-scale projects

I have developed XSLT for DCLP to convert EPIDOC XML to HTML.

I am currently consulting on the Folger Shakespeare Library’s new Digital Asset Platform.

I presented the opening keynote lecture at the Digital Scholarly Editions as Interfaces conference, University of Graz, in September 2016.

I have converted metadata from a variety of formats into Collex RDF for the Medieval Electronic Scholarly Alliance (MESA).

I teach “The Medieval Manuscript in the 21st Century” for Rare Book School (with Will Noel).
